Yesterday, after a late lunch with a friend I stopped off to pick up a copy of Bruce Springsteen’s latest: Live In Dublin. This weekend I’ll have to head out and pick up a copy of the DVD as well because the CD is that amazing… But tonight needing a little diversion, I found this masterful rendition of Further On Up The Road, from Live in Dublin on YouTube:


Springsteen fans will remember Further On Up The Road from Springsteen’s post 9/11 masterpiece The Rising. Enjoy!

I have to say, I missed Springsteen’s Seeger Sessions tour when it came through L.A. last year and was sorry I did. Having seen Bruce and the E Street Band twice on The Rising Tour, my appreciation for Springsteen’s talent was renewed.

Live In Dublin is some of the best live music I have heard in some time. And considering I just recently saw Eric Clapton and Loreena McKennitt live here in L.A. in recent months, that’s saying a lot!
