This is the most indoctrinated fool I have every heard on C-Span and what bothers me ever more is his almost naked use of the Christian Right magic-identity words. He started the program by telling us how he was 'blessed' to be in command of our troops in Baghdad. Blessed indeed.

All the callers were RW Crazies repeating what Bush and this Lynch keep saying. Steve was feeding him questions too. It was straight propaganda with no one countering him.

What is going on with C-Span that they would put this propaganda on with no counter? I tuned in late to Lynch was there anyone countering him from the beginning?

It was frigthtening that this crazy Major General is in charge of the Multi-National Division...

Do they really think that these Bush Ravings can turn around the American people on this BUSH WAR...?

When they're featuring a Q&A at Book TV with some idiot who filmed a hit piece about Michael Moore, but can't manage to speak to Moore himself (let alone discuss health non-care in this country), what do you think is going on other than corporate propaganda?

7. 70% Al Queda In "My Battle Station"

I agree on the xtian buzzwords...he came up short of using the word "crusade"...but it surely wasn't far from the surface.

Some of his more "salient" points:

He said 70% of the people he "encounters" in his "battle station" (what a lovely description of a neighborhood, eh?) is "Al Queda"...now he doesn't differentiate...Al Queda is Al Queda...like it's an IHOP franchise. Then he claims that he's seeing Iranian weapons. So which is it General? Whose are "enemy" here or are you so fucked up you'll just shoot at anything that moves??

Another talking point...how the media is "losing the war". Surely its our corporate media...the embeds...that are planting the IEDs and firing the mortars. They're surely funneling the money to the various militias that three months later become "incoming" at our bases. And surely it's the corporate media that created the power void and instability in the region that has turned the country into a meat grinder. True...the corporate media is complicit in this bloodletting...but for not exposing enough.

As usual, C-SPAN needs to get this regime's mouthpieces out there "unfiltered"...as if its some "patriotic duty". I have tremendous respect for those doing the fighting and dying...not the mucky mucks who continue to spread lies and deceptions as to what's really going on. Either that, or the good General is really, really ignorant.
