Bloomberg has no comment about his sex suit problem
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/B/BLOOMBERG_SEXUAL_HARASSMENT?SITE=ILKAN&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

NEW YORK (AP) -- Mayor Michael Bloomberg speaks his mind and that is a big part of his cachet in anything-goes New York. But a sexual harassment lawsuit he settled in 2000 and other racy comments over the years show how his blunt style could prove a liability if he runs for president as an independent.

Before his election as mayor in 2001, Bloomberg was the target of a sexual harassment suit by a female executive who accused him of making repeated raunchy sexual comments while he was chief executive of his financial company, Bloomberg LP.

Bloomberg denied the accusations. Both sides were barred from commenting because of confidentiality agreements. Stu Loeser, the mayor's spokesman, said Friday he had no comment for this story.

He's remarkably tight-lipped. His cash does the talking for him.

7. Bloomberg was a DEMOCRAT in 2000. Just sayin'.....
He switched parties to avoid a packed primary in NYC. But before that, when this incident happened, he was Mike Bloomberg, (D).

When you're rich as hell, and someone gripes about what you did, it's sometimes EASIER to pay that person off. It's not always an admission of guilt when TIME (to include time spent in court) is MONEY.

8. He may have had a D behind his name but he was never a Democrat
He was as much a Democrat as Zell Miller was a Democrat.

9. Oh, PLEASE. Look at his stances on the issues before you make a fool of yourself.

Pro-gay rights and marriage, pro-choice, pro gun control, as liberal as they come on social issues--more liberal than Jack Murtha, certainly.

You should retract that assertion.

You're speaking from ignorance of his stances on issues, there. He was a Democrat who became a RINO in order to avoid a crowded primary. Do the research, the history is there and plain as day.

On edit, let me do it for you: http://www.ontheissues.org/Mike_Bloomberg.htm

He picked the stance or party that could get himself elected with the least amount of effort.

Typical lazy ass Republican.

13. That's just absurd. If anything, he's more like a deceitful Democrat.
He used the Republican party to avoid a Democratic primary. You're the only one who hasn't figured that fact out.

But hey, whatever. Your mileage obviously varies.

18. That's exactly right. He's got no time to go to court no matter how feable the charge.
Accusers know that, too.

10. Somehow I don't think this will derail him, if it didn't when he ran for mayor.
UNLESS more allegations (Clinton-level) come forth during the campaign season--now that might work, but "raunchy comments"? I've had quite a few male bosses and coworkers that are guilty of this crime, unfortunately.

Look at how BushCo the First shut up Jennifer Fitzgerald. She lived well and happily in London....

the details, apparently, due to the settlement terms.

Look at Andrea Mackris--the Dildo Really phone sex assault girl--she's a millionaire now! And quiet as a mouse, too!
