Meet the Press spends 45 minutes on Hillary & Obama |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-29-07 09:43 AM by spanone
Like nothing else happened in DC this week that is newsworthy.
they may never discuss gonzales, they're running out of time....but then again MSNBC priorities...............................................................
Never mind we're screaming into a constitutional crisis with a lying attorney general. MSNBC thinks the real crisis is a youtube question that pitted Hillary against Obama....talking about Hillary's cleavage and the important issues of the day.
What utter bullshit.

and the remark about how 'who killed Tillman is not important, what matters is who covered it up'....I would think both were equally important, murder is murder and covering it up is aiding and abetting after the fact. :puke::puke: edited to add: and obstruction of justice, impeding a criminal ivestigation....etc.

5. The problem is nobody cares about Gonzales. |
|
Outside of liberal friends, I've yet to meet one person gives a damn about the whole issue. Most don't even know who I'm talking about if I mention him. Hell, half my liberal friends really don't care.
The news sells whatever is popular, and a slow moving and complex plot line involving separation of powers and Congressional procedure is not going to be that story. Most people would much rather see a puff piece discussing Hillary and Obama fan videos.

30. Because the news doesn't report what's important |
|
too few folks know about it. I tell my nonpolitical friends what's happening at the Justice Department and they are appalled. Almost all Americans believe in a non-partial judiciary system. We have to continue to get the word out and support the blogs which broke and covered the abuse when none others would.

The problem is too many of my non political friends have let themselves become so out of the loop that this story just glazes their eyes over. Even when they do care it's somewhat temporary. It's not like they are dumb, it's a combination of general disinterest and burnout after years of political scandals. I've more or less let this go and work keeping them up on the war, which for obvious reasons is a much more accessible issue.
My con friends are beyond hope, as "Clinton did it" and "it's not illegal anyway".
Thanks for the welcome!

7. Of course when a front runner goes on the attack against a challenger it is news |
|
This of course gives more attention to the challenger.
Not a particularly smart move on the part of the front runner.
Hope, if she is nominated, she doesn't make similar mistakes against the Republican nominee.
After all, if she does, it just might get discussed on Meet The Press!

So I've heard. I would favor that limit. And permission to shoot anyone who jumped the gun.

as was Matthews show and on This Week with Georgie-I just finished watching Hatch filibuster on what a great man Gonzo is and how bad he's being persecuted by the democrats, not giving Schumer a chance to speak-also switched over to Reliable Sources and there was this woman on there with a fake face trying to blame the Clinton administration for everything gone wrong in the universe.

they still aren't given equal time or a platform to speak the truth-the Hatch filibuster was a perfect example-it's a tactic they have used well to get into power. The MSM just lets them go on and on. That's why we have the blogs and these type forums-and also why the republic party is so afraid of the YouTube generation

my life experiences tell me if those that oppose you perceive weakness, they move against you harder or more agressively. All dems have to say after such instances is that they will not appear again if they are not given the time they need.

Pay no attention to the mounting numbers of war casualties, the mounting national debt, the flailing economy, the shredding of the Constitution, the crimes of the Bush administration.
All of that is NOT important, because you just won't BELIEVE what Obama and Hillary are saying about each other!!!!
