9. What makes them keep voting for the republicans?
The Red States have been hurting for some time (like the rest of the country) so what is the story?

Are they still hung up on Clinton's blow job? Dio they understand that they have been lied to since Bush was installed?

Did they not get it that the tax break gimmick hasn't worked for them yet?

college tuition, etc.

We have a domino-economy.. Once those dominoes start to fall, they ALL fall..

People without jobs, don't eat out at local restaurants, or shop much at the malls.. as business drops in THOSE locations, they also start to lay off people, which means that MORE people suddenly cannot pay THEIR bills..

Those people who were LUCKY enough to have had medical coverage with their jobs, now have NO medical coverage, which means that they will fall further behind if someone gets hurt or ill in their families..and that they will seek out MORE local and state aid from agencies already starved for funds..

You can also expect property crimes to increase, because as local societal connections break down, there will always be some young folks who see theft as their only way to try to maintain any income stream..

More crime means a greater outcry for MORE police, which only stretches the local budgets even further..

Our government, by lack of business regulation and job protection, is sowing the seeds of the ghettoization of America..

When people work at satisfying jobs, for FAIR wages, and have the MEANS to care for their families, everything works..When the tipping point is reached, and enough people can no longer do that.. well.. we have pre-anarchy on our hands too..

This won't end well.

10.  No it won't end well
This continues on and is not even brought up in these political debates . Alot of companies like Fender musical Instrument Co has sent many jobs to Mexico and no one said a thing .

Bush should be placed in one of these so called new jobs he goes on about and let him see how well things go .

Great analogy. Fewer people with money to spend hurts all industries.

American Axle to Close Buffalo Plant

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20003419/

Continental Plant, Formerly Motorola Plant to Close, Elma, NY

Continental AG will close its Elma (Erie County) manufacturing plant and ship the work overseas, citing pressure to reduce costs to keep pace with competitors. The shutdown will be completed by the end of 2009, with the first round of the cuts to take effect in mid-2007. The closing of the plant will leave 380 workers without jobs. The Elma manufacturer makes auto electronics, such as sensors and relays for vehicle makers and component manufacturers. The shutdown will also affect an additional 50 to 60 contract employees at the plant who are provided by a staffing agency. Starting in 2008, the remainder of the plant’s sensor operations and service will be shifted to Continental plants in Asia.

After the 1960's revolution and they were forced out of VN .... they concluded that Americans had too much money, too much time on their hands and were too well informed -- !!!

Besides being condescendingly ignorant, is this woman crazy or what?

People like Bush* and Chao make me sick. Why are they so unpatriotic that they hate Americans?

Edited for grammar
