I need some hope...any news at all about Gore? |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-30-07 12:19 AM by TwoSparkles
I'm sure if anyone knew anything about Gore running, we'd know it. I'm just a bit down right now--living in a BushCo world.
I'm waiting on Al. Has anyone heard anything that might spark some hope?
Does anyone think that he's waiting for a certain moment?
Any indicators either way? Anything?
Any guesses? Rumors?
Thanks for putting up with my inquiry. I just need a smidgen of hope before I turn in for the evening... :)

Don't look to Al Gore, or anyone else. Al can only point in the general direction.
If Al Gore was there right now, what would he suggest that you do?
Do that.

Even if we all do everything we can individually to cut down on global warming it's like bailing with a spoon as long as the Repiglickins are in power!
How much worse will it all be after 8 years of "President Thompson" or "President Guiliani"?
Running for President as a Democrat and winning is something that only Al Gore can do now. It is not something that you or I can do. Nor is it likely that anything that you or I can do can make Hillary Clinton electable.

With all our announced candidates trailing running 10-20 points behind the Democrat-to-be-named-later, it doesn't look good for our side next year at all. They are all really weak candidates with really soft appeal. Even a gentle poke from the Repiglickin media sends their ratings into a tailspin. How can they hope to win the general election?
Gore is the ONLY one who can get his message out through or around the Mighty Slime Machine. WE NEED GORE!

6. DU had a "Write Al Gore To Run" campaign several weeks ago... |
|
I typed a letter very professionally and hand-signed it. I received a very nice letter back on his letterhead. It said that "while he has no plans to be a candidate again", he requested my support in the global warming effort. In my opinion, he still hasn't completely ruled it out by the way I hear and read his wording.

If you don't have one, it may be time to start thinking about one.

If he's not in around October, then I'll need to get behind another candidate.
