Ire these signs that the Bushies have reached their limit?
I heard today that 24 of 93 posts for US Attorney are vacant. This says to me that the Bushies can't come up with enough respectable attorneys willing to do the job the way Bush wants it done for government wages. (I won't claim that if enough money was on the table they'd have any trouble filling these positions.) Add that to all the attorneys the Justice Department hired from that fundy law school. It's one thing to hire crooks, but generally you want competent crooks. One would think that given all the competent attorneys in the US, at least some would be loyal Bushies willing to work for the government. Apparently not. My guess is that they're all out in the private sector bagging big bucks.

1. Your subject line: is the pun deliberate or accidental?
Don't change it, I just found it amusing that even the Bushies are starting to get vocally annoyed... letting their ire show through, so to speak.

3. I don't think they'd think twice about hiring some dumshit
from Falwell's back of the matchbook law school if any of them could actually pass the bar exam.

5. Its hard work finding somebody that will kiss *'s butt and is acceptable to the Senate
I think Bush will have a hard time finding somebody he wants to appoint that can get through congress.

6. It's a short term job now
with only a year and a half until National "Thank Christ That Shit is Over" Day nobody would want to take it. Besides with the loyalty shrub and his junta have shown them over the last six years I don't think that many people would be interested in any case.
