george wants more death and destruction and just wants to hand off this never ending war to someone else, and of course it is all about the oil.

Such a timeline would hand President George W. Bush's successor the task of bringing U.S. forces home from Iraq, more than six years after Bush dispatched them to topple Saddam Hussein.

1. This is what it's all about. This is most likely what's going to happen,

no matter how much noise anyone makes, or what Congress purports to do. They're already trying to adjust the September expectations to make it appear that there's progress, but they need more time. That's what the Pollack editorial in the NYT is about today--buying more time, give it time, we're starting to see "progress", give it time. Same as 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. Why would we be surprised at anything now? We all have copies of the playbook--they haven't deviated from it.
