Why are the Dems so afraid to say impeachment?
especially when the question is brought up. Why are they so afraid to say Lie they always use some other words like he was not being totally frank, he was dishonest, there were some untruths told etc...This is why the other side makes them look like wimps just say it! we know that they are lying. By the way when is Orrin Hatch leaving, I am so sick and tired of this asshole as well as Mitch Mc Connell. I have been watching these crooks since the Reagan administration, they are the just as bad as Cheney.

1. Because they are chickenshits
and they are more concerned about being re-elected than in doing their damn jobs.

4. Because they are more concerned about themselves than our country.

Most are political opportunists, who do only what is helpful to their re-election, as opposed to doing what is right for our country.

6. They accept the Republicans framing of this and every issue, and react to it.
They think the people rallied around Clinton because Americans hate impeachment.

It makes no difference that Bush has blantantly broken laws, subverted the Constitution, and enjoys a 25% approval rating (as opposed to Clinton, who was around 60%).

The Dems in Washington are incapable of seeing the massive differences in those two scenarios. They are more adamant about protecting Bush than they were of Clinton when he was impeached.

Basically, they are cowards, and they think we're stupid.
