Just a thought about Gonzo....
and believe me I have every wish to see Gonzo....well gone, but I can't help thinking about how purposeless a target he is. Ultimately the "Gonzzzzzzzo being Gone" deal should have happened months ago and really "Gonzo the gonner" is little more than a fall guy taking the heat for the real targets of whom we are all aware and agree should real be gone.

:boring:

1. I know exactly what you mean. However I'll still smile when they burn him down.

2. This is true...but Gonzo is the pebble at the top of the mountain
If he falls and gets indicted...the Prosecutor should draw the case out over the next year or two...so Gonzo cannot be pardoned by * and when he is tried....he will sing like a canarie because he will go to jail for the crimes he has committed.

He knows every little dirty detail about * and that's why * is defending him. * is not loyal to him he is afraid of him.

I see the wisdom of the Founders who wanted the second place finisher in the Presidential elections to be Vice President.

5. Gonzo is BushCo's final card.
When he falls, the whole house falls.

I wouldn't discount his power, he's the last legal firewall between BushCo and a world of hurt.

8. Gonzo is not as stupid as the Corp Media present him to be.
I have watched him and listened carefully. He is a clever criminal that is calm under fire. He doesn't seem to be worried about his future. He will be well rewarded for his shielding the Regime and Busholini from criminal prosecution. I am betting that he will resign before allowing himself to be Impeached where all the documents must be presented that would reveal the many crimes committed by this Regime.

9. Just remember that Bush calls him Fredo
And remember who Fredo was -- the simpleton brother, the idiot, the guy who only got to play with the big boys because of who his family was.

And if Bush thinks Gonzo is stupid... well, then you know he's really really stupid.

Watching his testimony last week, that was the conclusion I finally reached. He's not cunning, he's not brilliant, he's no mastermind. He's simple and he follows orders. Period. He's Fredo.

11. to the Dems - he's more useful as a swinging pinata than one that has been busted
the more Gonzo disassembles the more he highlights the entire bush/cheney mis-administration - the lies, cover-ups, secrets, dirty deals, spin, manipulation, cherry-picking etc.

if you can't whack bush directly, you whack Gonzo and gather up the little treats a bit at a time

12. WRONGO!!!! Gonzo is not just a fall guy. He is a mole in the justice
department who protects bush/rove/cheney from accountability for their evil deeds. Just the same as a Harriet Meirs on the SCOTUS would have been a mole for bushco. Gonzo and all of rove's installed hench-persons need to be removed.
