Roberts tells Bush he's OK after seizure


WASHINGTON - Chief Justice John Roberts told President Bush Tuesday he was doing well after sustaining a seizure at his Maine vacation home, the White House said.

Bush called Roberts Tuesday morning. "The chief justice assured him that he was doing fine," White House press secretary Tony Snow said. "The president was reassured."

Answer should have been quick and easy. "How I'm doing is none of your business. If I die or have to resign, someone will let you know."

I'd expect any president to put in a phone call under these conditions, though, no? And I'd expect Roberts to give the same, yeah, I'm fine, type answer to anyone in the office. I dunno. I guess I don't see the big deal here.
