Consumer confidence near 6-year high (Bullsh*t) |
|
I can't speak forever one I haven't gone shopping for anything in awhile. We are a average family of 5 both parents working and things have been tight. Maybe my credit cards are not maxed out enough (LOL). What and who do they base this consumer confidence report on?

kool-aid. Food prices are low, gasoline is low, crude oil is low, credit card interest rates are low, credit is abundant and we're ALL living a palatial lifestyle. This Consumer is very confident we're being lied to....again. The bush 'economic KABOOM' continues.

2. Good question...I'm certainly not buying much I don't have to |

The last major purchases I made were for a new air compressor (Since I do all my own car and home repairs I need one) and having my house tented for termites. Both things were really no choice.
I am taking a vacation cruise to Alaska this year, but that is my ship's reunion so it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I really don't want to pass up.
Other than that I'm not buying anything that isn't a replacement for something worn out or an absolute necessity.
