Could someone please educate Randi on the North American Union?
She just blew off a caller who was talking about this, and obviously Randi has not looked at it or she would not have belittled the caller.

1. That was surprising ...
She reads a lot so I can't believe she isn't even slightly aware of it. Hasn't The Nation covered this? (I thought I saw at least one article about it in the past year or so.)

12. She's definitely on an EGO trip. Always claiming she's the first
to say this or that... I like her, but she is obnoxious at times..

4. Can't be done without a baseball bat. I always question whether or not
she evens listens to the caller before she goes off on them.
That's why I quit listening to her.

5.  Randi is all over the place
One day she is concerned about terrorist attacks or was certain we would be bombing Iran then she shifts to this hopeful mode where she thinks all it takes is calls and emails to get bush out . Well hell these Dems already know what they need to do and ar not doing it and this is impeach . She was on this impeach the other day now it's calls again , calls or protests won't do it and she should know this by now , how long has it been already . Sheehan knows it .

8. Why do none of the Dems ever mention this union? It seems
to me that they don't want people to be aware of it either.

9. The North American Union isn't exactly an unknown topic. I would think that Randi should at least
know something about it if only because her profession is that of a political radio host.

It's something that pops up all over the internet and on AM radio.
Maybe there is something to it, or maybe it's just crackpot hokum.

I, for one, like Randi a lot and enjoy her show. But, she does occasionally go over the top with rudeness to some callers (and I'm not talking about the freeper idiots.)

I trust the next time someone calls about this, she will at least know what all the fuss is about.

North American Union to Replace USA?

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted May 19, 2006

.... President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union: ....

Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 12, 2006

.... A good reason Bush does not want to secure the border with Mexico may be that the administration is trying to create express lanes for Mexican trucks to bring containers with cheap Far East goods into the heart of the U.S., all without the involvement of any U.S. union workers on the docks or in the trucks.

Mr. Corsi is the author of several books, including "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" (along with John O'Neill), "Black Gold Stranglehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil" (along with Craig R. Smith), and "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians." He is a frequent guest on the G. Gordon Liddy radio show. He will soon co-author a new book with Jim Gilchrist on the Minuteman Project.

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 19, 2006

The Bush Administration is pushing to create a North American Union out of the work on-going in the Department of Commerce under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in the NAFTA office headed by Geri Word. A key part of the plan is to expand the NAFTA tribunals into a North American Union court system that would have supremacy over all U.S. law, even over the U.S. Supreme Court, in any matter related to the trilateral political and economic integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico. ....

Thursday, May 18, 2006 by Jerome R. Corsi -- The Senate voted to approve the amendment submitted by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., to build a 370-mile section of triple-layered fence along the Mexican border. Now the Bush administration is trying to push this as a victory for conservative ...

13. NAU is overblown conspiracy hyperbole, imo. Not uncommon on the internet.
I take the alarms with a grain of cyber salt.
