Mythbusters, Tessla, and collapsing bridges
They did an episode about it. They used a small contraption that generated a harmonic vibration, just like a jackhammer could. Did anyone happen to see any Muslim doctors driving Jeeps with jackhammers in the back? I blame Mythbusters for giving them the idea, they must hate America. Maybe they just hate bridges.

1. On a similar tack, did you see that doctors in the UK were guilty of
plotting to blow things up?? From that I understand that going to medical school will lead you to play with C4 and other sundry items.

My wife's a doctor
and Fox has me so scared that every time I see a dark-skinned doctor at the hospital I dive under tables or desks. Luckily the stuff there is made of Oak, a good strong American wood that can withstand the blast from an exploding medical professional.

If I'm driving on the highway and see a Jeep I break out in a cold sweat and start shaking. We all know from the footage it takes at least 4 days to put one of them out when they catch fire.

9. I'm sitting at an oak table
that was made in China. Don't think you're so secure under that "Merican oak"

13. They don't
water their Oak enough so it can't be stronger. That NAFTA Oak sucks.

15. It's probably giving off dangerous fumes right now, that oak table--really.

While China sends low-formaldehyde timber to Japan and Europe, Americans are getting wood that emits substantially higher levels. One birch plank from China, sold at Home Depot, gave off 100 times more formaldehyde than is legal in Japan.

I always thought they were good guys. They always answer my emails, even the one where I suggested doing a Mythbusters episode about Jessica Lynch.

14. I really
only watch Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs regularly. I bet if you email him he'll respond. He seems to be an OK guy. One of our online discussions was about them doing a show about the myth Bush actually won. He got a big kick out of the idea.

16. Believe me, we had email discussions about it.
I'm just going to chalk it up as a bad collaboration experience and leave it at that.

4. Are you high? Resonance frequency has been known about for 100s of years....
... The application of resonance frequency to bridges has been known for about 80 (Most plausible explanation of Tacoma Narrows).

Giving them the idea indeed. Sheesh.

18. I think he was joking.
Kinda like Huey Lewis almost bring down that huge overpass on the Sam Houston Tollway in West Houston.

Actually, it was the ten thousand shaking butts that did it. I was there. That thing was shaking like a ribbon in the wind. I truly thought I was going to witness the deaths of all those folks.
