I'm in political mode

and I know I SHOULD be working on my next novel. One of them, anyway. I've got two in the works right now, and find myself contemplating a third.

But I'm aggravated by the state of affairs in this country, and the fact that they're STILL trying to silence us, either by bullying, or by directed derision.

I've faced down my share of bullies in my life. I'm not going to be bullied into silence now. And derision? Oh, I can handle derision.

We need real, serious change in this country, and the only way we're ever going to get it is by making as much noise as we can. By never letting up. No matter how many names they call us.

Slander us all you want, but, so far, we've been right and you've been wrong. How that must stick in your craw.
