two questions regarding Tillman |
|
1. why is bush hiding this under the cloak of executive privilege?
2. are there any other deaths being similarly spun, cloaked, manipulated and/or lied about?

1. The same two questions have come to my mind also. I can see |

no reason for Bush to invoke executive privilege in this matter unless there is something that would be revealed that would be embarrassing or damaging to his administration. If there is nothing that needs to be covered up, why try to hide the facts?
There are probably other deaths being lied about, but since they didn't involve someone with Pat Tillman's visibility, nobody has paid much attention. I recall seeing two women on a 60 minutes segment who had gotten a run around when they asked questions about the deaths of their sons, but I can't remember the details right now.
Of course it could be that this administration has lied so much about everything else that they find it hard to reveal the truth about anything just as a matter of course.
