Poll question: Do you cross post stuff from here, elsewhere, or your own blog to newsrankers? |
|
or social bookmarking or whatever they call it like digg.com, buzzflash.net, netscape.com, reddit, newsvine, and some others I can't remember?
That's a good way to get ideas and news out of the progressive community into the rest of the world.
People in America are dissatisfied with what's going on, but they may not have found the alternative voices that are saying what they are feeling and adding the facts that let them know those feelings are well-founded.

2. What are "newsrankers" and how would one post to them? |
|
Are you saying link DU posts to other websites? Sorry, didn't understand what you meant.

3. people submit links to stories and other people vote on them if they think they are interesting |
|
stories with a lot of votes rise to the top. a progressive based one is http://www.buzzflash.net/">buzzflash.net Ones that are for a general audience: the biggest: digg.comothers: http://www.netscape.com/http://reddit.com/http://www.newsvine.com/http://www.stumbleupon.com/there's probably more. Using them definitely increased traffic to my blog.
