I can think of a couple right off the bat:

* West Virginia mining accident - result of cutbacks in federal mining regulations

* Hurricane Katrina - don't really need to go into this too much

I suspect that cutbacks in federal highway safety and inspections might have contributed to this latest episode.

Any others?

3. Don't forget the cuts to veterans' benefits.
Not only do they kill and maim soldiers for a lie, they treat the survivors worse than any administration in decades, maybe ever.

If you can't lay it at Bush's feet, it belongs to the R governor.

All deaths of our soldiers related to inadequate equipment.

Deaths of Iraqis because lack of water and air conditioning.

All deaths and illnesses caused by tainted food belong in here, too.

7. These are some of the small prices a society pays for being blinded by the right
all the while the Federal coffers are off-loaded to large corporations, the wealthy and well-heeled RW contractors.

6. Don't forget the court case interventions: tobacco, oxycontin...
Which allowed corporations to get wrist slaps for years of calculated murder.
