It really doesn't change anything anyways.

11. Because you are in Canada. The US version
requires a bit of searching to get to that article.

12. Yup, it's still there
CNN used to be the respected as a news source.

Now, it's been reduced to the level of the National Enquirer, only with LESS integrity.

3. Well we know Republicans don't want the war in Iraq covered.
Anything but Iraq. That strategy is pretty clear.

7. Sheesh...
<snip>

Most Italian men still live at home late into their 30s, enjoying their "mamma's" cooking, washing and ironing.

14. In college, I took my last Spanish class for a major in Mexico
Through a university program where a professor from the university travels to Mexico with a group for a little over a month in summer.

We spent a few days in Mexico City sight-seeing then traveled to Oaxaca where we stayed with host families and where we had our classes. I started a relationship with a Mexican-American girl (still friends with her today) also on the trip so I was often over at her host's family, which consisted of a widow in her 60s, a son in her 40s (a successful lawyer), and his 19-year-old wife - all living in a big ol' house.

Anyway, it was interesting to watch the wife's reaction to my friend (who was very attractive). Whenever she was in the room, the wife would make sure to always have her arm hooked in to hubby's arm while giving my friend dirty looks. Apparently she also decided to cook for the first time ever (all cooking had been done by the widow up until this point) to impress her man because the day after, my friend came to class with a stomach-ache from eating wifey's first ever meal - which she wasn't sure what it was but described it as french-fried spaghetti.

10. They thought it would be a good time for a humorous distraction.

So that people wouldn't talk about what a devious, lying, inept buffoon their President is.
