Poll question: You Tube Debate - is this idea salvagable?
Now that we have some distance, what do you think of the idea? Do you think the idea of having presidential debates with questions asked from a Youtube like model is a good idea? Or just not likely to work?

2. Can we call them forums or panel discussions?
Debates are more conversational between the candidates.

4. In 2004, every Presidential debate I saw was NOT a conversation
Candidates knew the questions beforehand (even the townhall style one) and answered them by rote. Even on redirect, they all had pat answers with no "Damn, I have to think of an answer quick" moments.
