3. the disturbing thing is that america now reminds me of the empire
in the later foundation books while Hari Seldon is alive and trying to set up his foundation to preserve what can be saved of civilization. I fear that we are heading the same way.

It is an open and festering wound in our national psyche.

Ooops, I forgot Katrina. That one hurts way worse than the bridge too... Cause it looks like we're not recovering.
We're like an elderly person that has been fir and athletic all their life and then they break their hip and die in 6 months...
