1. Let me climb out on the limb a little bit here |
|
trent probably has received a CLASSIFIED briefing about some terrorist something or other threat in the DC area sometime between now and September 11th. So what's old trent do, breach that classification instead of allowing law enforcement authorities to act on the info accordingly.
Please. Will someone take my Senator. I'd rather go without representation then to keep him.

The Capitol Hill police are alert! Alert I tells ya!
Isn't it adorable? I find that "threat" dubious as hell.

2. He can tell them to go to the moon if he wants. He has no authority to direct the activities of |
|
the Democratic Caucus in the Senate. He's just a low ranking minority whip.
The agenda setter for the entire Senate is the majority leader, Senator Reid.

9. Could it be to stop the pro-forma sessions Harry has planned? |
|
Just a guess. We hear that over the long August vacation, when those types of summer hires are made, Reid will call the Senate into session just long enough to force the prez to send his nominees who need confirmation to the chamber. The talk is he will hold a quickie “pro forma” session every 10 days, tapping a local senator to run the hall. Senate workers and Republicans are miffed, but Reid is proving that he’s the new sheriff in town.http://thinkprogress.org/2007/05/20/reids-plan-to-block-bushs-recess-appointments/
