5. You CAN do something-
Don't support corporations with your money.
Granted, it aint gonna stop the madness, but
you'll sleep better at night knowing that when ever possible,
you have avoided supporting the people responsible for it.

8. I do that already
I'm real conscience of what and where I spend money or give support, but I hear what you're saying and I agree. I see it as it's in our hands now to stop this carnage because our congress critters have already told us they weren't going to.

9. Don't you wish more people would?
Edited on Fri Aug-03-07 04:24 PM by BeHereNow
So many Americans don't really understand what is
fueling the machine-
Can you imagine what a difference it would make if EVERY ONE
simply STOPPED? Even for one week?

Not gonna happen of course.

11.  And people wonder why they hate us
I have stopped feeding the consumer machine years ago . It is the one way other than impeachment we have . As you said , people for the most part are not going to do this .

They will when the money runs out and we will be is the same conditions as Iraq .

4. Bet there's water in the Green Zone
Anyone know the temperature in Bagdhad in August? One more violation of the Geneva convention. I'd love to hear a Dem speak to this criminal act.

7. Is this because the lack of electricity has the pumps down?
Let me guess, a Halliburton subsidiary has the contract for that.

10. Genocide.
"Nits make lice." William T. Sherman

"The only good Indians I ever saw were dead" Phil Sheridan

"We don't do body counts," Gen. Tommy Franks

Some things never change.
