All earmarks are not created equally, at least in the eyes of some. The emergency funding for replacing the fallen bridge now being debated in the Congress is an earmark. Funding directed at a specific progject in a specific district, they aren't all directed at a specific contractor you know. I just wanted to point out, all earmarks are not bad things.
