Repulicans are ignorant, cowardly chickenhawks and I'm
sick and tired of trying to reason with these uneducated simpletons.

These are some of the sickest, war mongering people who advocate the use of nuclear weapons and world domination.

That's what I heard today. "NUKE 'EM."

And I'm supposed to leave if I don't like it here (the generic weak talking point response to everything.)

They talk a mighty tough game, don't they?

But they are nothing but pathetic arm chair soldiers who are too cowardly to get their asses over to Iraq and fight if they think this war is so just, and going so well.

They don't have the guts. They hide under the covers all day as it is, because they're so afraid of the big bad terrists. Good God, grow a spine Republics, you whiny little weaklings.

They are just scum of the earth, aren't they? :puke:

(sorry, I'm preaching to the choir I realize)

3. Thank Ralph Reed.
His leadership in the 1980s "put christian republicans in every office" worked. We've ended up with nincompoops like Senators Imhoof and Coburn. And don't forget all those House goons and thugs that rode in on Ronnie's coattails.
November 2008 is rapidly approaching. Help get out the vote and destroy the republican party (double meaning) for good!

4. Everything about conservatives makes me proud to be a liberal.
The side I am on politically loses many of its battles to the rabid right-wingers. Yet, unlike those right-wingers, the side I am on has never had to rely on a crooked attorney general or a corrupt press to stay out of prison. Nor do I ever have to say (as all conservatives should) "I was wrong."

7. I also meant to add that while DU is not perfect, it is sure
nice to be around so many great progressives who "get it."

While we all have our disagreements, this place is a great support system!

So many brilliant people here.

8. Bushbots are the worst America has to offer...my evangelical sister-in-law, for example
My sister-in-law is a evangelical Bushbot-
I wonder how she would feel if HER grandchildren were
in Iraq right now, without water or electricity.

By their fruits you shall know them, dear sister-in-law.

9. She sounds like my brother-in-law. I do what I can to
avoid discussing politics with him because it always ends up with my sister mad at both of us.
