Did anyone see CNN's breaking news announcement about a truck found with explosives....
in one of the Carolinas about 40 mins ago, with a witness describing the drivers as POSSIBLY being Middle Eastern, but with no confirmation....
And this just happened to coincide with the House FISA vote....

I hate to call premature bullshit, but I think I'm going to have to call it:

6. No I didn't see it......what a bunch of b.s. and that goes along
with the vote on the FISA bill.....why did they have to do this before the vacation? Was bush throwing a tantrum? Now bush and gonzo can continue to invade citizen privacy for the next six months with no questions asked and no checks and balances. I can't move to another country as tempting as it is but I'm ready to grow our food, dig a big bunker, put what little money we have into shoe boxes and pay bills with money orders. I'm sick of this government. I'll take no income, pay no taxes and disappear the best I can.

7. Why would muslims want to attack the U.S.?
We're so wonderful, and all.

Yes, most of the fearmongering crap is fearmongering crap. However, undoubtedly, some would like to retaliate against us by blowing up some of our shit, like we've blown up a lot of their shit.

/awaiting nattering naysayers.

and a local newscaster just announced that men are "of Middle Eastern descent". A road in the Goose Creek area, where the Charleston Naval Weapons Station is located, has been closed for over 5 hours.

"Sixty W-80-0 Tomahawk SLCM munitions and 85 nuclear aerial bombs for deck-based aircraft are stored at Charleston Naval Weapons Station, located on the west bank of the Cooper River, 40 km from Charleston, South Carolina".
