1. Anyone who thinks it should not be brought up again, and again, and again,
I have no use for. It went from a whispered word 12 months ago to one that is talked about often.

Keep talking!

6. Sometimes I can't help myself!

The more impeachment gets discussed, the less it will seem like an unachievable event. For a long time it wasn't even mentioned (except by us left wing wackos). Now it's being discussed on mainstream news shows. The more people hear it discussed, the more Bush's crimes will come out into the open. The more people hear it being discussed, the more acceptable it will be to be in favor of it.

Say it again!

12. Hope your right
but the way some other things have gone I suspect that the more we talk about impeachment the more blasé or nonchalantly unconcerned people will get about it. If your going to take a bold step like that you have to do it in a timely manner in order to get the full shock effect it produces. If Pelosi doesn't introduce it say in the next three month or so forget it.

Then maybe a year from now, people will start demanding it.

13. I bought two
Impeach Bush & Cheney T-shirts today not because I am optimistic about any chance this Congress might actually do the right thing, but rather because I at least want these so-called "representatives" and every other naysayer to know I will not be silenced by their apathy and shameful passivity. If nothing else, I want to make sure people know just whose side I'm on.

I agree. Keep talking!

5. I support impeachment, but I agree that this Congress might not have the guts to do it
Edited on Sat Aug-04-07 11:47 PM by Pushed To The Left
However, I still think it should be talked about regularly, and that those in Congress who support it should keep speaking the truth and getting the word out.

be blamed for everything that has gone wrong for over 6 years, and I seriously doubt they have the UNITY to do a "Smack Down!"

9. True enough. As Harry Reid would no doubt say, I Give Up.
These people are worthless. Not all of them, but enough of them that, as a group, they cannot be counted on to do what's right, to stand up for us, and for the law and constitution. They suck.

I'll probably continue to vote Democratic most of the time becuase the choices available are so truly pathetic, but barring a change of heart by our Mr. Gore, I will do so with no enthusiasm at all, just as they've shown no enthusiasm for us.

14. If They Don't Care About Your Civil Rights, Ya Think They'll "Do The RIght Thing"
Here...you keep saying Impeach...I'll say that I want a million dollars, let's see whose wish comes true first...or at least before 1/20/09.

To those who say..."let's just start it and surely the evidence will convince Repugnicans" or that some magic pressure will come out of the sky or after all these years these fuksticks will have some compassion? I'll collect the million dollars first before that happens.

People could get up the stones today to stop what was an obviously unconstitutional manuever by this regime...the Democrats coward under the "bully pulpit"...and these are the same people you expect to wave the magic impechament wand? I'll have spent that million and they'll still be wringing hands and rolling over.

I really wish there was an easy remedy to remove this regime from power NOW...but hell I'd even take some resistance. In the meantime, pardon me, I've got a quicksand salesman at the door...
