If we can find $2 trillion for war, don't you think we could find a couple of bil for healthcare?
And if Exxon can earn $10 bil in one quarter, don't you think they can afford to pay a couple of bil in taxes?

The economic inequities have become so lopsided that most people are unable to fathom how big the disparities really are.

Think in terms of millions, billions and trillions.

And yet Republicans say we cannot find millions to support renewable energy, and to insure children. It is not only wrong, it is DISGRACEFUL.

GREED is the motivating factor, and ARROGANCE is the method of satisfying their amoral choices.

1. Yes Exxon can afford the taxes, but we really AREN'T finding
trillions for the war! We're borrowing all of it!

I'm in favor of a War Tax! How long do you think the Pubs would be fat and happy paying THAT?

2. I think an awful lot of Americans have a fuzzy concept of millions, billions, and trillions.
I'd love to see how well a randomly-sampled group of American voters scored on a test of this concept. I hate to say it, but I think the results would be pretty disheartening.

4. We need all our money for killing.
Let France or somebody take care of Good Works in the world. The Lord wants America to spend its money, time and effort on killing people so they can be brave and free, like us.

3. How else will Haliburton keep in the black?
The only option (it would seem) would be for Haliburton to take over the privatized health care system in the United States.
