The Patriotic Duty to Absolutely Crush Corrupt Government Officials... |
|
When Iran/Contra occurred, the characters involved were allowed to walk away with a slap on their wrists, and pardons were passed out like balloons.
When Watergate occurred, Nixon was allowed to resign and receive a full pardon.
THis time... if and when we get the goods on the criminals inhabiting the WH and this Administration, we have the patriotic duty to absolutely crush them. We cannot allow them to spring back to life.
Normally I am willing to entertain compassionate sentencing which allows for rehabilitation. However in this case, we cannot afford the possibility that these characters will rise from the ashes again. Severe to harsh sentences need to be handed out to people who exploited not only the power and assets of this country for personal power and privilege, but they violated the public trust and have ruined our standing in the world at large. They will surely have earned the punishmen they receive.

all the corruption, and loopholes that allow that corruption that have been written into countless bills over the last several decades? I can not imagine how one would even begin to chip away at that mountain of filth.

Now what is the best way to ensuring that not one of them receives a pardon?
I am an impeachment supporter, but am willing to wait if there will be serious punishment for these criminals.

4. I do not doubt for a moment that Bush would use the pardon power to protect his cronies... |
|
As long as Bush is in office, Cheney and Rove and Gonzo would be in line to receive a pardon regarding any kind of wrongdoing.
However, once there is a changeover in the WHite House that pardon power goes out the window and the underlying charges will remain for prosecution --assuming we clean up the DOJ and restore integrity there as well.

In case you have not seen this video.. it is a "Must See". It is a long view, 2 hours, but well worth it. It explains everything that is happening in the world today and WHY it is happening. We must get rid of the Federal Reserve (a privately owned corrupt bank) and its debt-based financing system. "In times of economic upheavel and hard times, wealth is not lost, it is simply transferred from the middle class to a few corrupt super wealthy". http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1583154561904832383&q=money+masters&total=34&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1
