Sounds like a republican trait to me.

I am a Dem and like what the Democratic party supposedly stands for. To say I am "proud to be a Dem, " IMHO, is akin to saying "I'm proud to be 5'11" tall."

I am a Democrat and I will fight for my liberal beliefs. I will protest war, I will stand up for the working class and those less fortunate than myself as well as for Universal Healthcare and other like causes.

If we can get a person in the oval office that will stand for those things, I suppose I will sin a little. I would sure be proud of that person.
