Two observations re: RW'ers
Disdain for the "Hollywood Elitist" crowd

How many times have you heard the alleged mistrust and so-called anger, from rightwingers, at the "Hollywood elitists" as they like to call them?
I don't know about where you live but here in San Diego County this place is full of ignoramuses like this.
On one hand they claim moral superiority over modern mainstream culture yet turn right around and talk about American Idol and other hit TV shows ad nauseum at work. Much like FAUX News does with it's tabloid-ism.
This is a strange hypocritical phenomena that I am observing more and more of.
What the Hell is wrong with these people? Seems to me that if they truly felt this way they would be more like me and not be up on the latest music, movie, and TV stuff that I couldn't care less about.

That is the first "observation".
The second one is:

The "morality" issue as a smoke screen

They use "morality" to cover the class war that is going on.
At least the millionaire RW talkingheads who rule the airwaves do.

Notice how RW'ers couch issues in terms of their morality and avoid economic and legal justice issues that affect everyday working Americans?
This is the real crime. That this phony "morality" and "values" crapola is a mask that keeps the truth from many working poor and shrinking middle class members who have bought into the Republican pseudo-religious song and dance.
Much easier to keep the masses fooled by a false "moral outrage" and blame the "libruls" rather than have them wake up to the idea that 1% of the population owns 50% of the wealth in this country and the gap is growing between the "haves" and the "have less" and less and less and ....

Just a couple of observations that have been floating around my brain I thought I'd share tonight.
