Hey folks, quit your damn griping and call your local Congressman and either praise them for their votes, or ask when they are having a townhall meeting so you can voice your opinion.

Or call them and say you want to talk with them.

You don't have to be confrontational, but you need to talk with them and make then understand you are pissed.

I am pissed. And I am meeting with my Congressman.

officials must know this! My question has to be is, what can the voter do about their Senator/Congressperson with regard to the current situation ie: Their enabling FISA? I would like to tell ya that there is and election up and coming in November 2008, but... I'm not certain that the election is going to happen...

3. Last time I met and had a discussion with him

He was either clueless about the bankruptcy legislation (that he signed on to)- or he looked me in the eyes and lied to me.

I reckon since he's a lawyer- he probably knew that there were no provisions in there to protect ordinary people from extraordinary medical bills, and he was just trying to make a show for the other people who were there, who didn't understand what we were talking about.

Wu will NEVER get my vote or any support from me again. Indeed, when folks ask me (and they do)- I'll just be honest and say straight up that I'm not voting for him.

I asked him a simple question and a couple of follow-ups in front of about 30 people.

And the guy failed to show integrity.
