kpete: I admit to some moments of despair here at DU (especially this week) but I do not believe that this is a time to split apart. I will continue to do everything I can to reach out to those who agree and those who do not. We must continue to document the autrocities. I believe right now, is a difficult time for many of us. Things are ugly - but, I know that MOST of us want the same thing, an end to this nightmare that is the Bush Administration.

1. How about the innocent Iraqi civilians?

Just for those who forget about the civilian non combatants who have been/continue to be slaughtered. Remember these people did NOT ACTIVELY CHOOSE to join a military, these people's lives have been ruined, these people NEVER SIGNED UP TO KILL or be killed. How about remembering them first and foremost?
