3. She looks and sounds grumpy and shrill.I think this is her worst debate so far.
She did well in the other debates, but she isn't good today.Maybe it is that she "Knows" labor probably won't support her.

10. Biden is shrill too.Is that sexist? Damn.I don't think Hillary is special because she is female.
I wouldn't like a lot of what she has done if she were male.

16. Saracat is NOT A LOSER
"Shrill" is not sexist. It's just a word. Just because you love Hillary you come on this thread and attack...yes ATTACK...everyone who doesn't? Wow, way to win converts. It's also against the rules to straight-up call another DUer a name. "Loser" is calling someone a name.

24. *snort*
You understand I have emotional issues? Do you know the percentage of people who suffer from mental illnesses, such as depression, bipolar, etc.? Do you know how many are members here? Have you been to the mental health forum HERE? You should be ashamed to speak to someone the way you just spoke to me. Do you tell someone, "I know you have diabetes so I steer clear of you." Diabetes/insulin levels can greatly affect your emotional state. ...and when I was going to leave DU, Skinner said he would be glad if I stayed. I wonder what he would say to you. What a crappy thing to throw at someone as a weapon. Especially since, POT/KETTLE. You're obviously quite ILL.

Still, you are breaking the rules when you call someone a name, like "loser". I absolutely know the power of words and we are allowed to say a candidate is shrill.

27. Yes, Hillary, is that you? Words are "powerful" that is why the negative attacks on Obama are nasty.

28. Thank you Madspirit! That was very nice of you! I am in fact and ardent feminist.
I believe that means judging candidates and all people on their merits without regard to gender but some don't get that!

4. She used to get slammed for her lack of passion while speaking
She just can't win on this.

Were you against her showing a tiny bit of cleavage, too, like the idiotic Wash Post fashion critic? Maybe tonight she looks too dowdy, too.

12. they are all speaking in an outdoor venue, even with a PA system...
if you've ever stood on a stage in an outdoor venue you're left with the feeling that your words aren't going much past the tip of your nose i.e. Edwards is now speaking in just such a shrill manner

I'm an AFL-CIO member, and I watched about 1 minute of the debate. Between the worst sound system ever and every union member getting up to get a hotdog (not a good backdrop for the ever-nerdy Olbermann in an expensive suit, by the way) I couldn't take very much of it. I get the impression that all of the candidates want to get out of Iraq, though.

While she was at it, she should have talked about how she was a "Goldwater Girl" and a "Wal-Mart Gal".

since she was the only woman on a stage that was placed on the 10 yard line, but seriously, we can tell what your gender is.
