The debate's not even over yet, but impressions are probably quite clear. How do you think KO has done in moderating this debate?

For my money, he was spot on perfect. His usual blend of self-effacing snarkiness mixed with appropriate seriousness. He was a refreshing change from the ponderously formal and the moderator-centric debates we've seen before.

(As an aside, did anyone catch the fall-on-the-floor funny shared intro to this clambake by the Carlson boy and Tweety, each yelling over the other one?)

As someone who regularly criticizes Olbermann's pricky "Countdown" program, and Olbermann's not-very-likeable persona on it, I was very impressed here. Smart, pro-union, kept it rolling, tried to keep to the schedule but was generous and amusing when it didn't always stick, treated the audience with great respect and warmth, low-key--I was very impressed. This has been my favorite debate; because of the great audience and subject matter, and because of the moderating.
