http://www.celebheights.com/s/George-W-Bush-467.htmlSupposedly, John Edwards drivers license has him listed as 6'0, but people who have stood next to him say about 5'11. Bush is also closer to 5'11 these days. In any event, Edwards is not a small man.

Whitehouse.gov lists Junior as 5 feet 11. Realizing there are inconsistencies I decided to go with USA Today as a common source.
The main point I wanted to make was, Edwards is actually taller than average. This is true even if he is actually only 5' 11" as you have speculated.
I cited the 5' 9.2" average in Wiki but I have been told all my life that it is 5' 10". It's easier to link to Wiki than it is to what I've been told.

In Karate, some of the best ass kickers I have ever seen have been small. In the SEALS, the small guys are usually incredibly nasty pieces of work.
If I were Edwards, I would just call Tweety out. Ask him what his problem is and if he would like to take it outside.

Tweety and all the Beltway insiders just want the STATUS QUO, which she represents. 23. It's called "corporate media"...Tweetie is on the bonus plan. |
|
He gets rewarded, I'm sure, for trashing the populist guy.
Happened with Gore in 2000 - Kerry 2004 - why be surprised?
Do something about it. Make sure Edwards gets the nomination or if another candidate gets it who will do something like Gore or Dennis, then support them.
You notice that Obama made one of the truly great blunders of a primary campaign. He threatened to attack a country that's critical and also on the verge of an attempted takeover by really nasty people who would use that nation's nuclear bomb to threaten us and others, at the least. His comment might, probably wound not but might, have destablised things and poof! We've got al Qaeda controlled government in Pakistan with the bomb. NOW THAT'S REALLY STUPID.
But did Obama get it form MSM. Nope. The same reason Hillary doesn't really get it. They're "easy to dance to. Edwards isn't.
If Gore gets it, expect WWIII because Gore will fight back viscously this time. Hope Edwards calls for "busting the network trusts" very soon.

His corporate masters already decided who the front runners should be and who the toughest opponent would be. It's his job to sell the story line and shoot down any viable candidate. That would mean dissing Edwards and ignoring Kucinich. Understand one thing, any progressive or populist candidate has to win two battles, that is against the opposition party and the media. It sucks to always be swimming upstream.

Look this is Willie Brown, an awful human being and disgrace to the Party, Pat holocaust denier Buchanan, and Chris "I have a mancrush on all Republicans" Matthews. They do what their masters tell them to, which is currently to attack Edwards. Their fear of him is interesting. I guess the establishment sees him as the greatest threat to the awful status quo.

Howard Wolfson, Hillary's spokesman, was an asshat as well. Very smug and kept interrupting whenever Bonior or Axelrod were trying to make a point. He reminded of the right-wingers that Tweety always has on his show for "balance". I've never been big fan of Hillary's, but Wolfson's performance last night just made me even more sure of the way I feel about her.
