The pundits say that Edwards lost! I can't believe we watched the same debate |
|
Tweety and company are mostly calling it for Hillary and that the biggest loser was Edwards. Look, I haven't made a decision yet on who I'm supporting, but I thought that John Edwards had a very good night. I actually thought they all did relatively well, but I thought that Edwards really shined. It seems to me that the media wants this to be a two person race: Clinton and Obama.

10. Edwards wants unions strengthened and universal health care |
|
and fair not free trade.
Now why would coporatist pundits not support that? </end sarcasm>
Of course the pundits back Hillary.

3. Tweety would say Hillary won |
|
If she'd shown up in her bathrobe, spoken in tongues and shot a cameraman. Tweety has already made up his mind.
I had to change the channel.

and as a Kucinich supporter both now and in 2004 I'm pleased that he might be getting a little more exposure - but I call it BULL SHIT that Hillary WON BIG TIME - the MSM want her to be the Dem nominee there is no doubt in my mind and that can be for two reasons only - because she is the most likely to lose against the repunk OR she won't be too much different than what we have now... I really believe this - Hillary sounded great to me tonight - but I DO NOT TRUST HER and wonder where she was for the YEARS before she actually started her campaign....

I believe "Sicko" more than her explanations re her campaign donors. And it bothers the heck out iof me that Bill is friendly with the BFEE ... You can't lie down with dogs and not pick up fleas.

I HATED seeing the Big Dog with Pappa Bush so often in the past - don't think it happens so much lately but it literally MADE ME EFFING SICK!!!! I'm really a bit sad because I have been a feminist ALL my life I mean really since I was about 4 - and I have wanted a woman President ALL MY LIFE - and I so don't trust her - and I'm not even sure I can vote for her - I know I will if she is the nominee but she just ain't the one - I'm surprised her finger isn't chaffed from holding it in the air so much to see which way the wind is blowing....I wish she truly stood for something other than election.....

Edward's seems the most engaged when he speaks about health care, same with Kucinich when he talks about labor.

behind him more than he did. Hillary didn't do as well as she's done in other debates, and I didn't think Obama was really on tonight either. Maybe the heat got to them.

16. with Edwards and Kucinich you can hear the--and i hate to say sincerity but |
|
for lack of a better word thats what i got when they talk about certain issues, health care, labor the war, when i hear HRC or Obama talk i never get to hear what issues they feel really passionately about, thats not to say i don't like them but i don't hear the same sincerity that i hear from the some of the others.

either. I think Kucinich did the best with Edwards a close second. Clinton and Obama didn't hurt themselves but then neither did anyone else. I would be proud to have any of them as my president. -Undecided that thinks it is way to early to be decided.

18. I thought the same thing after the Bush/Gore debates. |
|
You know--my God, they weren't even CLOSE. Bush was clearly a moron with only the most superficial understanding of the issues and a few catchphrases he kept going back to again and again (remember "fuzzy math"?). Yet the talking heads called both of the debates I watched a draw, more or less. Based on--get this--body language. And the fact that Gore couldn't help rolling his eyes and sighing at Bush's inability to grasp the subject matter. In my view, the networks do their viewers a grave disservice by allowing the pundits to express their dumbass opinions about who won or lost. Shut the fuck up and let the viewers decide, pundits, because you obviously don't know shit.
