7. So did I
Even though Florida was already decided on John Kerry in 2004. He was my guy then and wll be now, unless of course Al Gore decides to run. I would love a Gore/Kucinich ticket.

20. I can imagine.
I would probably make my husband do his business traveling alone even though I've never been to Europe and we've never been apart longer than a week.

Thinking of this makes me so giddy.

6. Sorry, I think he's mostly okay but this one is a deal breaker for me:
Kucinich is currently drafting legislation that would ban the purchase, sale, transfer, or possession of handguns by civilians. A gun buy-back provision will be included in the bill.

19. What's more important? Your gun, or your country?
As if such a law would ever be passed, and if so, that it wouldn't be struck down as unconstitutional.

Don't let one blinding issue cloud your judgment. What about the other 99% of the things Kucinich supports?

39. Thats the wrong question to be asking.
And improperly placed onus to boot.

You should be asking Mr. Kucinich (and anti-gun proponents at large too):

"Whats more import, your personal stand on firearms or your country?"

To place any of it in any other way, is putting the cart before the horse.

34. Just do like most that live in the neighborhood I live in,
buy an illegal one from the kids. Criminals don't buy them legally, depending on the area you live in, if you asked your children if they could buy a gun if they wanted, the answer would be yes. That depends on where you live though. Here in Maryland where I live, elderly people get robbed, mugged and so on, I wish they would allow people like my mother to carry a concealed weapon. She doesn't drive and has to walk through some pretty bad places and I worry about her all the time. Yes I take her everywhere I can, but she is hard headed and figures she has had to tough it out all her life, if she wants to go to the store and no ones around to take her, shes going.

So the thought of that law shouldn't discourage you from voting for Kucinich.

Even if their BEST FRIEND was up for some election, they'd wait to see how the "cool kids" (or "smart kids") voted before they voted ... afraid NOT to go along with SOME crowd.

That's what those who spew the 'unelectable' meme remind me of. They're MORE 'concerned' that the "cool kids" won't choose Kucinich and God Forbid they actually support the person who best represents their values!

It takes that special kind of cowardice to run from anyone who might laugh at you and call you names ... ALL YOUR LIFE!

You are exactly right.

This "Kucinich is unelectable, therefore I support <insert media favorite here>" meme is exactly what is preventing the desperately needed change in our political system.

Screw that.

32. ding ding!
we have a winner! If people would just stop buying into this bullshit idea that almost ANY candidate we put up could ever be unelectable then maybe the country would elect someone who will REALLY change things for the better. There is no reason for any liberal democrat to not vote for him, and there's certainly no reason for any other democrat, independent, green, or rational human being to consider him greatly. After all, party affiliation is the SINGLE-MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFIER come election time, meaning, the vast majority of the votes taking place during the election come down to party affiliation, and that is followed second by voter turnout, and then that very minute portion of Americans who actually are undecided (it's less than 5% of the population). IF we put up a strong Dem, Dems will in turn vote for him. If we turn out voters like we usually do (before all the voter fraud is factored in) then we win every time. So there is no reason to not support a true progressive, who stands for the PEOPLE, not the special interests of the government; a real populist.
