Petitions, shmetitions, calls, playing nice
and then we get them elected

They ran on oversight...

Oversight my ass

You folks want to get their attention?

A petition will not do it

A call will not do it

Now a national strike will...

Perhaps

Reality is... this shit... in other places, people would be in the streets

Me... I guess the cartoons should be in my future

Why?

Useful actions (national strike) are not the american way of doing things...

Them founding fathers are doing summersaults and just wondering when the hell we are going to throw the tea over the side? In fact, I'm wondering that too

2. I've done far more than just that
but the point is... what we need is a NATIONAL STRIKE...

That will not happen... but that will get everybody's attentions, FAST

The lessons from HISTORY are there for the taking

Massive marches, strikes and other actions are needed, and you know what? I ain't holding my breath

3. Fortunately, there's never only one way.
We will overcome. However we do it, we will do it.

Never Give Up, my friend.

5. Stating a reality does not mean I have given up
just that we need to do far more than just silly petitions

They can be ignored, a country coming to a screeching halt... cannot

And US citizens since the 1960s have been defangued.

Its been done in many ways, but ask a recent HS graduate from any average school two questions

Did you read the Constitution while in school

No

Do you know about Selma and the Civil Rights Movement

Two possible anwers

1.- Who gives a fuck

2.- The more truthful, we never got that far in history class

4. Exactly !!! - It's So Ironic That We Give The French Such A Hard Time
They know exactly what to do when their government pisses them off, and they do it.

They shut down the entire country until the government cries "Uncle!"

THEY live the words of Thomas Jefferson, not us.

******************************************************************************************

Thomas Jefferson

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

******************************************************************************************

The French always were a better study at revolution. Just ask Marie Antoinette.
