Should Fred Thompson and Newt Gingrich run together on their own ticket? |
|
It should be called the "We're not sure" ticket.
Must not be a lot of faith in the Republican Party if there are two candidates who are "testing the waters."

5. They may have to if they can't be more persuasive than they are now |

to Puke primary voters.
Thompson's numbers are relatively high becaue the entire GOP is unstable, corrupt, inarticulate, marginal, and repulsive. Including him.
Gingrich is a twisted, Dickens sort of character, a a very high white collar sleaze quotient. I can barely stand to listen to him speak. If you consider what is appealing about people like Brian Schweitzer for example, you can see why someone like Newt Gingrich is not going to win the cafe & truckstop vote.
I'm not really seeing either of these two guys getting very far in 08 no matter what ticket they run on.
