Graham poses for right-wing slander photo-op.

TMZ.com obtained this photo of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) posing with a sign that reads, “Obama, Osama, and Chelsea’s Moma Say Cut and Run.” In a statement released Tuesday evening, Graham said, “I was handed the sign by a rally attendee as I was leaving. I should have been more careful and I apologize.”

The sign is “nearly identical” to one that Romney posed next to two weeks ago — right down to the misspelling of “momma.” The sign Romney was photographed with said, “No to Obama, Osama, and Chelsea’s Moma."

1. you'd think that a u.s. senator could read.

so if he is telling the truth, this sign could just as easily have said 'I only fuck teenage boys with blonde hair' . he HAD to have looked at it. imo

6. Who is making these signs?

The sign with Romney was taken July 19, 2007. Romney caught much grief after it appeared on TMZ July 21, I find it strange that someone supposedly as clever as Lindsey Graham would hold that sign knowing the mini-scandal surrounding Romney.

My guess is both these men knew exactly waht they were doing and dammit, I want to know who that hateful sign maker is.

8. I agree- both of them knew exactly what they were doing.
Throwing a bone to the most rabid of their supporters,
then "apologizing" several days later.

I don't believe either of these two would simply
pose with a sign someone handed them without READING it.

10. It's obviously a copy of the Romney incident sign
Same message, exactly. Red lettering on white, same basic letter shape. Same stupid spelling mistake.

Somebody is obviously proud of the notoriety of the sign and their own ignorance.

9. I love the fact
that a sitting US Senator has to wear a "Hello... my name is _______" badge.
