Remember the homeless during this heat wave....

Please donate a bottle, six-pack or a case or two of bottled water to your nearest homeless shelter. While some people manage to find a cool place to go during the day, some don't and when they come in to the shelter at night they are parched. Even if they do get sheltered during the day, it's **always** a good idea to stay hydrated in this weather.

Also...some come in with extremely bad sunburns...aloe vera or any other sunburn medication would be greatly appreciated as well.

(As would monetary donations so that shelter staff can get supplies in bulk, too...)

6. Exactly....and one other thing....

WATER BOTTLES! Those things come a dime-a-dozen, and they are great to hand out as well. Those who are on the move can really use them as they can be filled up during the day. So if anybody has a surplus of those things...

Where I live there are lots of beaches, little lakes etc. Not too hard to stay cool here but not every location has this luxury. Sunscreen and aloe vera etc. are the things to give here and refillable water bottles as has been suggested! Good clean water is so plentiful here, suitable containers--eh--not so much.
