What's missing in this equation is the rich has more money to spend, but the middle class has less.:grr:

4. The more I think about this quote the more I realize it represents the state of this country....
Why should there be stores that cater to the high income consumer doing so well when the rest of the economy is struggling along?

Why should there be sales at all time highs in purchasing yachts, expensive sports cars, and other luxury items when we are a country at war and we still have over 40 million Americans without healthcare?

Why should the mutual funds made up of companies that cater only to the richest elite in this country be outperforming all other mutual funds?

It is evidence that Bush has succeeded in giving the keys to the kingdom to the ultra-rich and corporate campaign contributors. The rest of us have been left behind.

....And there is no comfort knowing that the ultra-rich are doing so well.
