Bush cites Global Economy Extremely Strong, so everything is fine ....
"We are gonna keep good policies in effect" --translate we are going to keep helping the oil companies and the corporate contributors to rip off the American middle class and the poor.

The fact that your jobs are outsourced is nothing to worry about, the 'Global Economy is Extremely Strong.' -- translate corporate profits are at all time highs from using cheap labor oversees and companies ducking out of their obligations to employees in this country and pay taxes in this country.

5. They're our friends.
As long as they keep making goods for us to buy, with those types of jobs the US has no problems giving them, neither side is going to have any real quarrel with the other.

In short, with China's involvement in everything, how much of a claim can they really make?

4. Add to that the unsustainable policies .......
Like allowing BP to dump mercury into lake Superior. Either thse folks are totally nihilistic, or they think they're going to manage to survive mother nature.
