Who do you want as a Vice President? |
|
I've been thinking about this more and more lately. Do you have a "dream ticket"? I have an Obama-Hillary or a Hillary-Obama fantasy for my dream ticket.

22. Funny you should mention that. |

A couple of weeks ago I had a dream that Gore announced his candidacy for the presidency, and that he was selecting Wesley Clark as his running mate! What’s odd about that is that the only thought I’d given to a running mate for Gore (who I’m set on, obviously) had been Obama. Clark I simply don’t know very much about. (Granted, I know even less about Obama – I simply was thinking in terms of winning tickets.)
What has impressed me about Clark has been his base of supporters and their unabated enthusiasm for him.
Now I guess I have two reasons for finding out more about him -- the loyalty he inspires (and, yes, the dream).
Incidentally, Gore seemed preternaturally sober and serene in the dream (similar to when he appeared before Congress).

5. A Democrat. Basically any Democrat. Unless, that is, the off chance of a third party wins... |
|
...and they are more progressive than our current Democratic party, then they don't have to be a Democrat, but they do have to vote with the Democrats when Congress needs them for a tie breaker.

It's difficult for me to go any further than that. The Democratic presidential nominee could choose the ghost of Anna Nicole Smith and I wouldn't complain a bit.

19. I'm Hoping It Won't Matter. |

Hopefully, after Cheney leaves, the VP will go back to being the same non-entity the position usually is. I'm tired of having to guess which is the smart evil and which is the stupid evil.
