I think somebody better start saying this out loud- the truth -
That if this "conflict" is ever allowed to expand outside of Iraq - it can never stay regional either.

By definition - each party will take shots at the others economic base. That is oil in this case.

And that means every country in the world has an interest in this one.

I guess it could be confined to a region - right up til the day it threatens a countries economy - you know, too many tankers or piplines get blown up.

We are looking over the precipice of a third world war - and I think that is a fact at this point.

1. And any idiot who even talks about invading Iran or Pakistan
for some bogus "war on terror" is off my list of first choices, second choices, or any choices.

You have to wonder why the Republicanites and the right-wing Democrats keep wanting to poke that hornets' nest.

2. I couldn't agree more with that.
People say these things - just to get elected.

And you have to wonder - what else would they do to get elected??

Good point.

Joe

3. If you believe that they follow the PNAC blueprint then you know they're not done
They had a crazy plan and people crazy enough to do it. Who knows what would have happened if those nincompoops had pulled it off?
They should do the honorable thing and commit harakiri on the back porch.
In the mean time, I don't think there is enough leverage left to continue their crusade.

5. but you are a bit incorrect
there are a certain amount of idiots that would support killing the rest of the world as long as they get to have their hummer2, their gated communities, and a stack of money that they could lord over the dead and diseased. I've yet to figure out what makes that percent tick. Money/power won't go far in a dead society, but in the mean time.........

6. Oh - I just think they started a thirld world war - or the begining
of it.

I think the question is are we stupid enough to get led over the edge of a cliff??

I think their names are shit at this point. But I think the morons started a chain reaction - that unless checked - soon - is going to blow up.
