That if this "conflict" is ever allowed to expand outside of Iraq - it can never stay regional either.

By definition - each party will take shots at the others economic base. That is oil in this case.

And that means every country in the world has an interest in this one.

I guess it could be confined to a region - right up til the day it threatens a countries economy - you know, too many tankers or piplines get blown up.

We are looking over the precipice of a third world war - and I think that is a fact at this point.

there are a certain amount of idiots that would support killing the rest of the world as long as they get to have their hummer2, their gated communities, and a stack of money that they could lord over the dead and diseased.
