Duer in the news
Edited on Thu Aug-09-07 01:28 AM by louis c
Well, DU friends, I haven't been in contact for awhile. I've really been busy. However, I read your posts daily. I've just been so consumed with this Casino effort in Boston, that I haven't weighed in too often on the major national issues.

I represent the workers at Suffolk Downs racetrack in East Boston. A new owner has taken over with real deep Democratic roots from New York, Richard Fields. Turns out, Mr. Fields is a leading financial contributor to Hillary and Governor Spietzer. A Democratic owner fits in well in Massachusetts.

Anyway, here's today's story in the business section of the Boston Herald. It won't be hard to figure out who louis c is.

Haven't heard much about this subject over here on the west coast. I'll be sure and keep more up to date on this issue. Good luck in your efforts!

6. Thanks all
Just thought I'd share that with you.

By the way, I love all the dems. for President, but I'm leaning Hillary. We have to win this one just to change the National Labor Relations board (NLRB).

Folks don't realize how important all these board appointments up and down the line are to the average American. We need someone on our side.

9. Congrats!
Right now I go to Twin Rivers in RI on a sat night or Mohegan Sun when I have a weekend I can get away. It would be great to be able to spend that money in the Boston area.

Nice picture by the way !

10. Boston
Keep the money here.

If you want to gamble, do it here. After all, allow adults to make adult decisions.

12. Exactly
I don't gamble alot, but it sure is fun to get dressed up, go to a nice dinner, have some drinks, hear some music and then play some video poker. Right now we have to go out of state to do that.

11. Hey!
I read this awful story today. You might be interested... Lots of grueling adjectives and anonymous sources in it.
