repubs always claim they have the best 'values', I say bullshit. |
|
That is one over used word, 'values', politicians use it all the time, it's a word that summons up something in your mind, but what?
Just what are these mysterious, cryptic values we always hear about? It's a buzz word so full of meaning, yet lacking any real definition. All the repubs ejaculate this word at every opportunity, family values, bla bla bla, only to find out that they are private perverts with 'loose' values, to say the least.
What are YOUR values? How do they differ from the so called republican values?
Why do the religious conservatives always claim to have superior values?
When some republican asshole utters the magic word 'values', what does it mean to you?

3. The Pukes certainly don't represent MY values. |
|
Mine include looking out for, and reaching out to the poor and disenfranchised in this country, and indeed, around the world.
Mine include putting people before corporations.
Mine include providing health care to all.
Mine include allowing a woman to make choices about her own body, with or without the advice of her doctor and partner.
Mine include the right of every eligible person to vote, to have that vote counted, and to have that vote easily and readily available for a recount, if one is necessary.
Mine include the right to speak one's opinion, even if it flies in the face of whatever Administration occupies the White House.
Mine include country and people over party, ANY party.
Mine include fair treatment under the law, regardless of race, creed, color, economic status, or sexual orientation.
Mine include the ability of same-sex couples to join together in a legal union, if they so choose.
Mine include many other things, all of which promote the value and well-being of other human beings.
Mine include the right to do whatever you choose to do in the privacy of your home, as long as you are not causing deliberate harm to another person.
In other words, mine include all the values that the Republican values do not.

4. Hate is one of their main values, all the others just as negative. |

6. and they claim to be strong on defense |
|
where reality has proven that republicans are complete fuckups when it comes to defense.
Oh and don't get me started on fiscal responsiblity... has anyone looked at the markets lately. It looks like a swirling vortex of impending doom.
The only thing I figure republicans are good at is bluster.

Triumphant gloating over other people, therefore having to have a group they can deem "inferior." Usually this group is determined at birth; they like to pretend they "earned" their elite status.
Sneering at everyone else's misfortunes follows.
Double standards, due to everything and anything being OK for them to do but judging others for the same thing.
Sex is horrible and to be feared (thus their repression).
People are born with empty vessels for brains; control what goes into their brains and control them.
Control of others is a sign of power; power is the absolute value; he who has the most power over others wins.
Winning is everything; even the appearance of winning is better than losing; therefore, cheating is permissible. Everything can be reduced to win/loss and must be if it possibly can.
