Attention Bob Murray and other mine owners: You want to be union free?
It's really simple. Eliminate the need for a union. Don't eliminate the means, eliminate the NEED.

1. AH, but that would undermine his goal - get rich on the backs of underpaid workers
to say nothing of the $$ he saves by not operating safely.

2. Saving money by not operating safely is a false economy.

3. Greedy bastards don't think long-term
can't see far if they are forever stooped over, picking up pennies.

4. That's too simple a notion for some people.
You don't want other people dictating how you run your business?
Then do the right thing.
Not gonna do the right thing?
Then your workers and/or your customers and and/or your government are going to step in.

How come the greedmeisters don't get this?

I remember when I was about 7 years old, my father's union went on strike.
He sat us kids down to explain why he would be hanging around the house for a while, and why we were going to eat more macaroni and cheese. It made perfect sense, and a 7 year old totally got it and was on his side. That was a very important conversation in my personal development.

Someone needs to sit down with these types of business owners, and talk to them like they are 7 year olds...
