1. Interesting - I didn't know about that connection. |

However, Armistead Maupin was on Countdown one night and I was surprised to realize that KO and Maupin are old friends. Now I understand why.

they should do a "Where are they now segment?" on the lady. I've been doing some digging and it seems she tried it again.

That's interesting, I didn't know she started it up again. Would love to read where she is currently.

3. Night Caller was a bad movie, but this story is so fascinating. |
|
I remember watching a 20/20 special on this last year prior to the movie release and they showed the picture of the supposed AIDS infected kid. They asked if anyone knew this person, was this person or knew where to contact this person to get a hold of them as soon as possible. Sure enough, someone contacted ABC and said she remembers that kid as someone from her child's elementary school class years ago. They contacted him and he was shocked that his photo had been used for so many years in this hoax.
So yeah, it's fake. I wonder if that woman that perpetrated the hoax is still alive?

playing the wacky lady rocks. She did such a good job in the movie I felt really creeped.

8. I made it less than 10 minutes into that movie. |
|
Whether it's true or not, it was intensely fucked up.

9. Adds to my opinion of Olbermann |
|
That he picked up fairly quickly that the whole thing was a scam
Made me question the judgement of Oprah and Armisted Maupin.
